How the number is made

Cost per gram = price difference ÷ grams saved. The yes/no flag is yes at $5 per gram or below. That threshold is a budget sanity check, not a performance model.

Currency is whatever you typed. Five dollars, five euros and five pounds are the same cutoff on purpose — adjust the price you enter.
